Phish Announces Benefit Concerts at MVP Arena in October

Phish, a legendary American rock band, has announced two benefit concerts at MVP Arena in Albany, New York, on October 14th and 15th.

Proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music education and instruments to underprivileged children.

The concerts will feature Phish's signature blend of psychedelic improvisation and eclectic musical influences, including rock, funk, jazz, bluegrass, and electronica. The band is known for their elaborate stage productions and their devoted fan base, known as "phans."

Tickets for the concerts go on sale on Friday, June 24th at 10 am ET through Ticketmaster. A limited number of VIP packages will also be available, which include premium seating, exclusive merchandise, and a meet-and-greet with the band.

The Mockingbird Foundation was founded in 2009 by Phish bassist Mike Gordon and his wife, Jennifer. The foundation has since provided over $1 million in grants to music education programs across the country.

In a statement announcing the concerts, Gordon said, "We are thrilled to be able to partner with MVP Arena to bring these two special shows to Albany. The Mockingbird Foundation is a cause that is very close to our hearts, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support their mission of providing music education to underprivileged children."
